I was going to sign up and give it a try but no Canadian Phone numbers yet. I pay Primus 30 bucks per month. Looking for a better deal. Looks to me the only draw back with magic jack is that you need to keep you computer on to use.
Well, for $10 per month tax included you could subscribe to www.acanac.ca's VOIP service with unlimited North American calling.
Acanac's VOIP is standards-base SIP service and if you buy an ATA you don't have to leave your computer on 24/7, saving you about $250 a year in electricity costs alone!!!!
If you do subscribe to Acanac, please tell them that you were referred by Bram Frank, because I would get one month free - and after 10 referrals I would get service for free for life!!!
